Several dogs die after RV fire spreads to mobile home in Peoria

PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — Several dogs have died following a fast-moving fire in Peoria late Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out shortly before noon near 99th and Peoria avenues. According to Peoria Fire-Medical, the fire started in an RV and spread to a nearby mobile home.

While no residents or firefighters were hurt, officials say several dogs in the mobile home did not make it out.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
