SURRY, Maine (WABI) – Seven dogs died in a fire that destroyed a home in Surry Thursday.
According to the Surry Fire Department, the fire started around 2:30PM at a home on Sunfish Lane.
They say no one was home at the time of the fire.
Two cats are also missing.
They say they do not know what started the fire but the Fire Marshals Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
