Senior dogs adopted together, honoring owner’s dying wish

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – A bittersweet story led to a new home for two dogs in western North Carolina.

In April, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue took in two bonded senior dogs, Dutch and Pepper.

The rescue said their owner’s dying wish wasn’t for himself but his beloved dogs: “Please keep them together. Don’t let them lose each other.”

Brother Wolf said the pair were pampered in a foster home while they tried to find them a special home together. The shelter’s social media post about Dutch and Pepper received hundreds of reactions, comments and shares.

On Wednesday, Brother Wolf had a great update to share:

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
