Second search warrant at farm yields bodies of dogs

Police on Thursday found the bodies of two dogs believed to have been fatally shot at a northern Boone County farm.

Two chocolate colored Labrador retrievers named Ruby and Nellie escaped their rural Kirklin yard the weekend of March 15 and visited a northern Boone County farm a short distance away, according to Boone County Communications Center records.
