Second dog dies in Toulminville fire

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A man who lost his home in a fire on O’Connor Street says a second dog was killed in the blaze.

Derrick Prim says his second dog, Koaz, was found in the home under some clothes.

He says he had earlier found the first dog dead.

Mobile Fire-Rescue said they responded to a house fire on O’Connor Street Tuesday night.

They say the call came in around 6:30 p.m. and the first arriving unit on the scene reported flames coming from the front of a one-story wood frame residence.

Crews discovered nobody was home, but two dogs were inside the home in the 2000 block of O’Connor Street.

Fire officials say the home suffered heavy damage from the fire.

There were no human injuries, and the MFRD is currently investigating how the fire started.

Prim says he is still looking for help with clothes and furniture.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
