“A lot of people are scared of seniors,” said Jim Howe, Co-Founder and President of Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries. “They say they’re going to have all these problems and, you know, veterinarians are giving us advice. We’re going out to kids and trying to show them, older dogs are fun dogs. They’re kind of laid back more but they’re sometimes a gentle dog.”
