Sea Dogs hold on to beat Fightin Phils

Tyler Miller hit a bases-loaded triple in a four-run bottom of the fourth, and the Portland Sea Dogs held on to beat the Reading Fightin Phils, 4-3 on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field.

Ahbram Liendo added a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning to give Portland a 4-0 lead. Reading scored twice in the top of the eighth, then pulled within a run in the ninth on an RBI double with two outs by Keaton Anthony. Jeremy Wu-Yelland stranded runners at second and third by striking out Hendry Mendez to end the game.

Sea Dogs starter Yordanny Monegro went five innings, allowing three hits while striking out 10 and walking one.

The two teams play a doubleheader on Wednesday, with the first game scheduled for 5 p.m.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
