Caden Rose hit a three-run homer and Jack Anderson pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings Saturday as the Portland Sea Dogs completed a 9-3 win over the Altoona Curve in an Eastern League game that was suspended because of rain Friday in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Portland held a 3-1 lead when the game resumed in the bottom of the fifth inning. Allan Castro and Mark Kolozsvary homered Friday, and Connelly Early struck out eight in 4 2/3 innings.
Anderson allowed only one hit and one walk while retiring 10 of the 12 batters he faced.
