SALINE COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) — Saline County is set to host a town hall next week addressing concerns about animal control in the county.
This comes after 15-year-old Makayla Fortner was killed by a pack of dogs in the county last week. The attack has left many residents concerned.
Saline County officials say the town hall will discuss “the current state of animal control in unincorporated Saline County.”
The meeting is set to take place on Monday, Jun. 23, at 6 p.m. It is set to take place at the Butler Auditorium at Benton High School.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
