Decatur, GA — Run With the Dogs, an annual 5k race supporting student-athletes at Decatur High and Beacon Hills Middle, returns on Jan. 25.
This will be the 21st Run With the Dogs event and it will start at Beacon Hill Middle.
“We are excited to return to Beacon Hill Middle School with an exciting course in the Decatur neighborhoods of MAK (McDonough-Adams-Kings Highway) and Oakhurst,” the event announcement says.
The Run With the Dogs 5k is an official qualifying event for the Peachtree Road Race.
:Please register by Jan. 11 to receive one of our coveted, long-sleeved t-shirts featuring original artwork by Adam Pinsley,” the event announcement says. “Timing for this Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifier will be managed by Start2Finish race management. Race number pickup will be held at Fleet Feet Decatur on Jan. 23 and 24.”
