Rochester, N.Y. — Rochester Animal Services is calling on dog lovers to open their hearts and homes to larger canine companions.
The shelter is offering a 50% discount on adoption fees for all dogs weighing 30 pounds or more.
This special event will take place on Saturday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at 184 Verona St.
The reduced adoption fee for large dogs will be $25.
No appointments are necessary, making it easier for potential adopters to find their new furry family member.
The shelter advises anyone planning to adopt to bring a collar and leash to ensure a safe journey home for their new pet.
