Roanoke Parks & Recreation, RCACP hosts 100 Miler dog walk

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Roanoke Parks & Recreation and the Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection (RCACP) will host the 100 Miler dog walk Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m. on 1902 13th Street NE, Tinker Creek Greenway.

The 100 Miler dog walk will feature adoptable dogs from RCACP in a leisurely walk around the area to help shelter dogs enjoy fresh air, socialization, and exercise.

Participants walking a shelter dog must be 18 or older, but kids and families may join as long as an adult holds the leash.

The RCACP says participants should not bring their own dogs, but if they bring them, make sure they do not interact with the shelter dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
