There is plenty to envy about Rihanna’s wardrobe, from her designer coats to her vintage jeans. Heck, even her UGGs are limited edition. And this week, the Fenty Beauty founder stepped out carrying two super-rare accessories, reminding us that her bag game is also top tier.
On Sunday, the “Umbrella” singer was spotted carrying the coveted Anaconda Bag from Tom Ford’s Spring 1996 collection for Gucci, while out in Los Angeles. She donned the same pistachio-colored, bamboo-handled tote back in 2022, when it was reported that she sourced the piece from Lab2022’s Neil Leonard.
Rihanna paired the rare handbag with a few matching snake-print staples, including a slate-colored zip-up jacket from Louther and pointy pumps from Amina Muaddi. Then, she took a cue from Kendrick Lamar and rounded out the fit flare jeans from Celine.
A day later, the singer and business mogul was spotted out again, this time in a look that was a bit sportier, but no less luxe.
For an outing in West Hollywood, RiRi zipped into a gray hoodie from Miu Miu, which she paired with matching sweats from the Attico. Then she did a little self-promo by sliding on a pair of lilac Fenty x Puma sneakers (that are still unreleased), and she accessorized with black Ray-Ban Wayfarers and a gold Tiffany & Co. necklace.
But once again, it was her bag that stole that show, because in contrast to her understated outfit, the singer carried a rainbow-colored Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Monogram Speedy 30—a bag that was reintroduced to the market earlier this year thanks to an anniversary collection from the duo. It was the first time that the pieces were made available since 2003, so naturally, they sold out almost instantly.
If we can count on one thing, it’s that Rihanna’s gonna get her bag.
