Resident Raises Concerns Over Dog Training at Watertown Public Dog Park

{KXLG – Watertown, SD} The final resident to speak up during the open public forum at tonight’s Watertown City Council meeting also addressed a dog-oriented issue that involves the public dog park and alleged issues with a dog trainer using the park to train multiple dogs.

Resident Mike Johnson explains the situation to the council…

Johnson talks about some incidents…

Johnson says it interrupts others enjoying the dog park…

Johnson ended by saying, “Hopefully, we can get something worked out.”

As previously reported, no action has been taken, and the council has not engaged the speaker during the open public forum.

Stay tuned to KXLG News as we have reached out to Shauna Geier, owner of Happy Tails K-9 Training, for comment.

According to the rules posted in the photo below, taken in May 2023, an individual is limited to two dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
