Rescue groups save dogs from being euthanized in Levy County after shelter trouble

BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) – Seven dogs facing euthanasia are getting a second chance after the Levy County Animal Services building was deemed unsafe.

TV20 reported seven out of the 64 dogs at Levy County Animal Services would be euthanized Thursday morning if no one commits to adopting them.

The department says Williston Animal Group is “actively working” to adopt three of the dogs. The Humane Society of North Florida and Poochies Rescue have each taken in one dog.

The shelter is extending the date to rescue the remaining two dogs until next Thursday, Nov. 21. Those interested in helping should contact the shelter at (352) 486-5138.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
