A Rensselaerville woman is accused of not properly caring for multiple dogs.

Heather J. Miroff allegedly left six animals in unsanitary conditions contaminated with urine, feces and trash. The dogs also were malnourished, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Miroff initially refused to let deputies enter her residence on Wednesday, June 19 to check on the dogs. She eventually surrendered ownership of the dogs. They were taken to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and will be treated before they are placed in new homes.

Miroff was charged with six counts of failure to provide proper sustenance/cruelty to animals. She was released and is due in Rensselaer Town Court on June 24.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
