Remains of 2 missing domesticated dogs found in crab pots

THORNE BAY, Alaska (WKRC) – Two missing French bulldogs that went missing a month ago were found dead in a pair of crab pots.

During routine shellfish pot inspections near Thorne Bay on March 14, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers (AWT) in Ketchikan discovered two crab pots containing the remains of domesticated dogs.

The two French bulldogs had been reported missing on Feb. 13, in Thorne Bay, and their owners had been actively searching for them. The two bulldogs were brothers, KTUU reported on Thursday. They were named Yoda and Whiskey.

PEOPLE reported that the bulldogs’ deaths may have been “personal” and that Alaska State Troopers “investigation is active and ongoing.”

Authorities urged anyone with information about the disappearance of the bulldogs to contact the Prince Of Wales AWT Post at (907) 826-2291.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
