Registration open for 28th annual Run with the Big Dogs event

POCATELLO — Registration is now open for the 28th Annual “Run with the Big Dogs” event scheduled for April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Lower Ross Park. The event organized by The Friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter features a 2k walk/run and a 5k run. Registration is $40 per participant. Register before Monday to get a Run with the Big Dogs T-shirt. Entrants will receive a bandana and a “doggy bag” full of freebies (while supplies last).

“This event is truly amazing. It’s wonderful to see so many people with their dogs enjoying the day together,” said Chris Abbott, Pocatello Animal Services director. “We’re incredibly grateful to all our participants, sponsors and The Friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter for their ongoing support — they’re the reason this event is such a success year after year.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
