Queen Creek man arrested after dogs found left in vehicle for several hours, resulting in their deaths

Queen Creek police officers responded to a report of animal cruelty involving an employee of a business near Signal Butte and Queen Creek roads.

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — A man was arrested after two dogs were found left in a parked vehicle for at least six hours, leading to their deaths, the Queen Creek Police Department said.

Queen Creek police officers responded to the area near Signal Butte and Queen Creek roads on June 13 for a report of animal cruelty involving an employee of a business located within the shopping complex. 

The investigation found that two dogs were left in a parked vehicle for at least six hours, resulting in the death of both of them.

Police said a 40-year-old man was arrested and is facing two counts of animal cruelty. The investigation is active.
