How did you start your career in the U.S.?

When I arrived in the U.S. there were already many dog trainers. I noticed that there was something missing. The trainers were focusing mainly on the dogs. Owners didn’t know how to have a relationship with their dogs before they tried to train their dogs. Owners needed to know about a dog’s energy, philosophy, and actions. As an immigrant new to the United States, I wanted to help dog owners in this country.

I started walking dogs and noticed I was making a big difference in the dog’s behavior and the dogs were happy and healthy. So, I started creating simple approaches and formulas for owners to use to better their relationships with their dogs. I was instinctually using these methods and I started to refine and share them with owners.

What are the top three challenges you hear from dog owners?

The most common is fight, flight, and avoidance. Fight is bad behavior and aggression, flight is fear, and avoidance is my dog doesn’t listen to me. Dogs naturally surrender to follow their parents and if their dog is not behaving the owner needs to train the dog to surrender to follow them. Dogs need boundaries and they need simple and profound direction. If owners live in chaos and are excited and not calm, their dogs will not see them as leaders or follow their direction.

Can you explain one of these methods?

Yes, the No Touch, No Talk, No Eye Contact is based on how people should approach dogs. When most people see a dog, they approach them in a very excited way. When people run to a dog and try to pet it, it is disrespectful behavior to the dog. You need to be quiet, be calm, and wait for the dog. Also, in America I noticed that many people do not walk their dogs correctly. I see many dogs out in front of their owners, when the owners should be keeping their dogs along the side of them. A dog is a predator and once you put a dog in front of you, you are basically telling the dog to lead.

What are some tips you can give to dog owners?

Most dog lovers treat their dog with affection, affection, and affection. What they need to do is employ exercise, discipline, and then affection. Discipline is not punishment. Discipline is what it takes to become an Olympian. Dog lovers tend to have a problem with discipline and leadership. Leadership provides access to discipline. Discipline means you are setting rules, boundaries, and limitations. Without leadership, you can’t set structure or discipline. The leadership position gives access to the state of mind that they need to train their dogs. Exercise is one of my top tips I give to clients, a tired dog is not going to give you any problems. This works for both the body and the mind of dogs. If they are tired, they will follow a structure and discipline much more easily. Then affection is food, water, shelter, hugs, toys, all the usual ways that owners show love for their dogs. Dogs need to earn affection.

What is Halo Collar 3 and how does it help dogs?

I felt I needed to create a technology to help owners and their dogs with rules, boundaries and limitations while letting them live freely and safely. Halo Collar helps with all of these.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
