Princess Kate sends coded message with Chanel handbag on latest visit

Princess Kate was a vision of sheer elegance when she stepped out at the Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday when she donned a sophisticated, sombre look. The 43-year-old wowed onlookers as she mixed vintage and classic accessories.

Ciara Russell, who is a leading fashion stylist and worked with leading A-listers exclusively, told the Express.co.uk that Kate is careful when it comes to choosing her accessories and often uses them to channel hidden meanings. The Princess looked stunning in the black ensemble at the Guildhall London and was spotted in a Boden jumper with a matching pair of trousers from Roland Mouret.

Completing her striking look, she layered a Catherine Walker coat and chic Chanel handbag worth over £4,000. Reports suggest that Kate possesses over 100 handbags, which total a jaw-dropping sum worth over £54,000 ($315,000).

Despite her Chanel bag appearing understated, Ciara claimed it had a loud meaning. She suggested that Princess Kate hand-picked it from her collection to not overshadow but instead compliment the vintage pearls she wore from a Jewish-owned brand.

The fashion expert said: “Kate Middleton’s choice of the Chanel Classic Square Mini Flap Bag perfectly complements her polished and elegant style. The bag’s structured yet versatile design adds a touch of luxury without being ostentatious, aligning seamlessly with her signature understated sophistication.”

Ciara continued: “Chanel handbags are truly priceless because they embody priceless and timeless elegance and sophistication.”

Before adding: “Their impeccable craftsmanship, iconic design, and heritage make them one of the most refined accessories a woman can own.”

This is not the first time that Kate has worn the design, she wore it at the Festival of Reembrace Service held at the Royal Albert Hall back in November which honoured war heroes.

During the Emir of Qatar state visit, she donned the colour of the season and was snapped holding onto a burgundy design by the luxury designer that she first bought in 2017.

Kate clearly wanted to make sure that her show-stopping pearls were the central focus of her outfit as they were purchased from a Jewish as well as sustainable brand.

The Princess of Wales donned the 1980S Vintage 5 Strand Faux Pearl Necklace by Susan Caplan which retails at £275.

Clearly thrilled by the Princess wearing her design the owner took to Instagram following the event, thanking the Princess of Wales for wearing its design.

They said: “Today marks 80 years since the Holocaust, and as a Jewish-owned brand we are honoured that the Princess of Wales chose to wear our necklace for today’s memorial to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day.”

Her look sparked a frenzy among royal fans with one user taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: “Kate looks so stunning and never puts a foot wrong.” While another agreed: “Lovely and such a nice tribute.”

“It’s very beautiful, and I love that Catherine wore it. Queen E was almost never without her pearls during the day,” wrote a third.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
