Get ready to meet your new best friend! On Sunday, July 21, four new plush (stuffed) dogs will be available to purchase for $10 each at all local Price Chopper/Market 32 stores, with proceeds supporting Feeding America.
Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks that works to provide nutrition security to more than 46 million people, helping them get the food and resources they need to thrive, with respect and dignity. Feeding America advocates for policies that improve food security for everyone and works to address the root causes of food insecurity – like the high cost of living and lack of access to affordable housing.
The four newest members of the Price Chopper/Market 32 plush family — Relish, Quincy, Benson, and Rocky — each have unique backstories and are ready to find their forever homes.
- Relish the Pug might be small but what she lacks in stature she makes up for in personality. She loves to play, cuddle, joke around and even be a bit mischievous! And Relish loves pickles! That’s why her brow is so wrinkly — it’s the pickle juice.
- Quincy is a dapper young Boston terrier with a stylish tuxedo coat. He’s gentle, polite, and is extremely protective of those he loves the most. Quincy is always up for a promenade, especially around his favorite market where he can find his favorite food, a Boston cream doughnut, since it matches his outfit.
- Did you lose something? Benson the Basset Hound is on the case! She’s a whip-smart detective who uses all her senses to find what’s lost. Her droopy ears and extra skin around her neck hold on to scents, helping her use her keen sense of smell to track down even the smallest of items, including an extra sharp New York cheddar cheese, her favorite food.
- Rocky the boxer loves to move and play! While he won’t say no to long runs (especially up and down stairs) his favorite game is fetch. He loves the thrill of the chase and how the stick floats like a butterfly so he can sting like a bee. The only thing Rocky loves more than attention is a giant Cheesesteak — hold the bread — it fits better in his bowl that way.
