SAN ANTONIO — A pre-sentencing hearing is set to begin at 9 a.m. today for Danielle Henderson, the woman whose dogs mauled an elderly man.
Henderson is expected to be sentenced in a case involving two of her dogs.
Prosecutors are seeking a prison sentence of at least eight years for Henderson, while she has applied for probation.
In August 2023, Henderson’s German Shepherd and Pit Bull attacked Max De Los Santos in his front yard, leaving him with serious wounds.
The dogs involved in the attack were euthanized.
A district court judge will determine Henderson’s punishment.
