MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Pope Memorial Humane Society – Cocheco Valley in Dover welcomed seven new dogs from Georgia over the weekend.

The rescue mission came in response to an urgent plea from one of the shelter’s southern partners, where the dogs faced euthanasia.

The dogs have quickly adjusted to New England’s chilly winter weather. Their ages range from under 1 year to 6 years.
