EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police say they are searching for a third suspect after they say that a dog was stolen.
20-year-old Jamon Farmer Jr. and 18-year-old Aiden Smith were arrested on Robbery charges after police say they and a third suspect, Jeffrey Lambka, intimidated the two victims and took their dog.

This was just after 4 in the morning Saturday.
The victims told police that they believed Farmer had a gun.
The father of one of the victim’s broke up the argument, and police say the three suspects left the apartment, taking the dog and threatening to shoot up the apartment in the 1300 block of North Fares Avenue.
A short time later, officers say the suspects contacted the victim and said they would return the dog if the victim would return a bottle of vodka left at the apartment.
According to police, when the groups met to exchange the dog and vodka, one of the suspects hit the victim with the handle of a gun.
That’s when the father of the victim fired a shot to scare the suspects off.
Police were able to locate and arrest Smith and Farmer, but Lambka has not been located.
Officers found the victim’s dog nearby and returned it to its owner.
