Police: Dog involved in Manchester attack that injured 8-year-old was euthanized

SHOWERS AND STORMS? THAT’S COMING UP. ONE OF THE TWO DOGS INVOLVED IN THAT ATTACK THAT SERIOUSLY HURT AN EIGHT YEAR BOY HAS BEEN PUT DOWN. THE ATTACK HAPPENED ON LAKE AVENUE IN MANCHESTER EARLIER THIS MONTH. THAT BOY HAD SERIOUS INJURIES. POLICE BELIEVE HE WANDERED INTO A YARD WHERE THE DOGS WERE FENCED IN.

One of two dogs that attacked an 8-year-old boy in Manchester earlier this month has been euthanized, according to police. One of two dogs that attacked an 8-year-old boy in Manchester earlier this month has been euthanized, according to police.

The boy was taken to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries.

Police said a ball the boy was playing with bounced into the yard where the dogs were fenced in.

The investigation is ongoing, but police said the dogs had different owners.

There is no update at this time on the boy’s condition.
