Greene County (WRGB) — The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a small plane crash Sunday at 6:10 p.m. in a remote location in the Town of Windham.
According to police, the plane was a Cessna T210L traveling from Maryland to Albany carrying the pilot and three dogs. Responders have reached and secured the crash site.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently being assisted by the NYS Forest Rangers, NYS Police, Greene County Emergency Services, Windham and Hensonville Fire Departments and The Civil Air Patrol.
Police say, the FAA is also responding and the investigation is ongoing.
