When it comes to explaining the craftmanship that goes into Polène, the brand he co-founded in 2016 with his brother and sister, Mathieu and Elsa – great-grandchildren of the founder of iconic French maritime-style clothing brand Saint James – the 30-something could be even more talkative. “Unstoppable,” his teams confirmed. A Polène bag costs between €260 and €620, which is considered a reasonable price at a time when those of major brands’ flagship products have risen sharply in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis. Since its creation, Polène has grown “gradually,” without any hiccups, doubling its sales every year. By 2023, turnover amounted to €142.7 million.
