The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 58 is adding some unique prizes to its popular bingo session, which will start at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4724 Vulcan Ave.
The organization will give away designer handbags, including Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Coach, as prizes for the bingo games. The event will benefit the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation.
“We will have 10 games with alternative prizes if there’s multiple winners,” said Cindy Anchondo, an organizer.
Tickets will be $60 at the door. The buy-in includes two packs of cards; additional packs are available. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
Organizers are hoping to raise $1,000 from the event.
