Pike County rescued flood dogs up for adoption in Chicago

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – More than a dozen dogs displaced by the devastating flooding in Pike County have been rescued and relocated to a shelter in Chicago, according to officials.

A total of 21 dogs were evacuated from the floodwaters and transported through a partnership between the Anti-Cruelty organization and the BISSELL Pet Foundation. Officials say the dogs arrived at the Chicago shelter Wednesday and are now available for adoption.

Rescue organizations continue to work in flood-affected areas, ensuring displaced pets find safe homes as communities recover from the disaster.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
