REDDING, Calif. — Tinkerbell, an adorable rescue dog, is looking for a furever home after being abandoned with six other dogs in a taped-up box. The dogs were initially terrified and shut down when they arrived at the shelter, but after three weeks, they have become loving and sweet, said Lindy from Casa De Love Animal Rescue.
“One of them has been adopted, so that’s great,” Lindy said. “The rest of them are primarily black. Black dogs are the least dogs to get adopted. They’re last on the list. People just overlook the black dogs for some reason. But they’re the best. Black dogs are my favorite.”
Tinkerbell is described as calm, sweet, spayed, and ready for adoption. Those interested in adopting Tinkerbell can contact Casa De Love Animal Rescue.
