Pee Dee deputies investigating after person attacked by multiple dogs

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – An investigation is underway after a person was attacked by multiple dogs on Thursday night in the Pee Dee.

Darlington County deputies responded to Blair Road in the Hartsville area for the dog attack. One person was taken to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown.

The dogs were taken by the Darlington County Animal Control to be quarantined.

The investigation is ongoing. The 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office is assisting the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
