FRANKLIN, TENN. — The PEDIGREE® brand, a Mars subsidiary, launched PEDIGREE® DRIZZLERS™ — a mealtime sauce for dogs designed to be added to food. According to the brand, this innovation comes in response to growth in the meal complement category, as consumers are showing increased interest in providing their pets with multiple flavors and textures during mealtimes.
The brand is hosting a hot dog stand in Central Park to celebrate the launch of DRIZZLERS.
| Source: PEDIGREE®To celebrate the launch, the brand is kicking off its Sauce for All Dogs campaign, calling on people and their pets to indulge in their favorite sauce during mealtimes. PEDIGREE stated that it believes dogs would enjoy their food more with some sauce, just as humans love condiments on hot dogs. So, the brand is debuting a hot dog stand at Central Park in New York on May 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the event, pet parents will be able to enjoy hot dogs while their pups enjoy kibble topped with DRIZZLERS sauce.
PEDRIGREE partnered with reality TV star West Wilson to introduce the new DRIZZLERS product.

“Sauce is key to adding flavor and dogs can now enjoy a tasty mealtime with a sauce of their own, PEDIGREE DRIZZLERS,” Wilson said. “Ever since I learned that so many dogs are eating sauceless meals, I realized just how passionate I am about making dogs’ meals across the country saucy.”
DRIZZLERS are now available at retailers nationwide and come in four flavors, Natural Chicken, Turkey, Beef and Lamb.
