So many traditional Easter treats are bad or even poisonous for your pooch. Hard-boiled eggs are fine, in moderation, but ingredients in chocolate can make them ill or even be fatal. Sugar-free hard candies may contain xylitol, which can cause a severe drop in blood pressure in dogs and can lead to seizures, coma and death. The sugar in most of the rest of the Easter basket can cause significant abdominal discomfort, severe gas, bloating, diarrhea, and even potentially pancreatitis in dogs, according to PetMD.com.
So, you shouldn’t be feeding your dog Peeps. Unless, of course, they’re in the new, limited-edition Milk-Bone form.
Milk-Bone now has Peep-shaped, marshmallow-flavored treats for dogs ahead of Easter 2025
Milk-Bone has come out with Peeps-inspired dog biscuits, because why not.
The cute, crunchy snacks come in “festive spring colors” and three shapes: the classic bone, the iconic Peeps bunny and a chick.
What do Milk-Bone Peeps (for dogs) taste like?
You guessed it. Like marshmallows, but dog-safe.
“They’re marshmallow flavored (artificially flavored) for even more of the PEEPS experience, all wrapped up in delicious dog treats that you can feel good about giving,” the company said in a release.
How much are Milk-Bone dog biscuits?
The 22-ounce pail of Milk-Bone Peeps marshmallow-flavored dog biscuits is available for $7.49 at retailers nationwide, including Amazon, Chewy, Target and Walmart.
