Parton Loop Woman Arrested for Animal Cruelty; Over 30 Dogs Rescued

A Mosheim woman has been arrested on charges of animal cruelty after over 30 dogs were discovered on her property in deplorable conditions.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department arrested Polly J. Ayers, 1595 Parton Loop, following an investigation over the weekend.

Deputies responded to her residence on Saturday and discovered multiple dogs inside a house that appeared to be in disarray. Deputy James Crum reported that no one answered the door when they knocked. The report indicated that officers detected a foul odor resembling that of a dead body. The individual who alerted authorities had suspected that the homeowner had died and that the animals were not being properly cared for.

Officers entered the house to check on the welfare of the owner. Once inside, the report noted that the home was found to be in unlivable conditions, with dog feces scattered throughout. Despite a window air conditioning unit, the house was still very hot, and the outside temperature was nearly 90 degrees. Over thirty dogs were found inside, and no food or water bowls were reportedly not present.

Family members took two of the dogs, while animal control took custody of the remaining 31.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
