Barkland in Parkland {City of Parkland}
Calling all pet lovers: The City of Parkland has organized a special event for you and your furry friends.
They’re gearing up for the annual Homes Fur Dogs Expo, a free community event that celebrates canine companionship while supporting local pet adoption efforts.
Scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the event will take place at Barkland Dog Park, located at 9245 Ranch Road.
Families and dog lovers attending the expo can expect a lively morning filled with activities. The event will feature local pet vendors showcasing a variety of products and services, live music to set a festive tone, and a caricature artist creating whimsical portraits of furry friends. There will also be contests for dogs and their owners to enjoy, along with opportunities to meet local adoption agencies on-site for those looking to find a new best friend.
In addition to the festivities, the Homes Fur Dogs Expo will include a donation drive to support a local pet rescue organization.
