Park City officials hold ribbon cutting ceremony for new dog park

PARK CITY, Ky. (WBKO) – Today, Park City officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new dog park called Park City Bark Park.

With the help of a small crew from Western Kentucky University, the park was built by Park City Maintenance Department members to give back to the community.

“We had a good time doing it though. It is great for the community; we have a lot of people out here with dogs. I can’t wait to see all the furry babies running around,” said Brittney Harper, a member of the Park City Maintenance Department.

City Commissioner Mike Burgess said Park City is a small but connected community. With new improvements like the dog park, community members will have more places to get together and continue to foster the small town’s sense of community.

People also celebrated the grand opening of a new train-themed bike rack and a bench for the public on an existing bike trail named after Ronnie Stinson and Joe Bailey called “Ole Lewis and his friends Joe and Ronnie.”

Bark Park is located on the site of the former Little League field, across from Park City Elementary School.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
