Owner tries feeding dry food to spoiled dog, backfires hilariously

A hilarious clip showing a dog owner’s failed attempts at feeding her spoiled pet dry food has left internet viewers in stitches after going viral on social media.

The video shared on TikTok in June, under the username @inspiredbydior2, shows the pup, Dior, sitting by the table, waiting for her owner to serve her dinner, but she doesn’t get exactly what she expected.

“So, in this house, we’re grateful, OK? And we eat whatever is put on our plate, all right? We don’t complain about it, we don’t pout, we show gratitude, all right?” her owner can be heard saying to her.

“Now, this is what you have for dinner, OK? Let me see if you’ve been listening to our talks. What do you think about that? What do you think about what’s on your plate?” the poster asks Dior. The dog looks at the plate with disdain, before turning her face around and leaving the table without touching her dry-food dinner.

A caption shared with the clip reads: “A dog who is used to home-cooked meals.” It is followed by: “This girl is hilarious!”

While most boneless and skinless meats and vegetables like carrots and celery are usually fine for dogs to eat, lots of other human foods can be poisonous to our pet canines.

A previous report by Newsweek found that any coffee, tea, and other caffeine products can be very dangerous to dogs, and can even cause death in small pups. Chocolate and alcohol are also among the most poisonous foods on the list. Not all fruits and vegetables are good for dogs; in fact, grapes and raisins, apples, cherries, peaches, and citrus all have potential to do your pup some serious harm.
