Owner of dogs that killed man arrested for domestic violence

LAWRENCE CO., Ala. (WAFF) – Authorities said a man and woman from Lawrence County were arrested and charged with domestic violence, just four months after the man’s dogs killed another man.

Jonathan Nix and Melissa Todd were arrested for domestic violence on Sunday night by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. Todd is also charged with harassment.

According to the sheriff’s office, Nix was bitten by a dog in a house. They confirmed Nix is the owner of the dogs who mauled Willard Norton, an elderly neighbor to death in June. Deputies said the dogs involved in the deadly attack were humanely put down.

They also said the dogs who bit Nix didn’t have rabies shots and would be quarantined for 10 days with animal control.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
