Owner cited as Enid police respond to dog attack, one dog shot and killed

The Enid Police Department (EPD) responded to a dog attack that resulted in the deadly shooting of one of the dogs.

According to EPD, officers arrived at the scene at approximately 10:37 a.m. on Oct. 24.

Two dogs reportedly attacked and injured three people.

A 36-year-old woman, a 48-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman reported being attacked.

The 24-year-old woman was treated at a local hospital, the other two victims declined medical care.

One of the two dogs attempted to attack an officer and was shot and killed.

The other dog was not located.

The owner of the dogs was cited for running at large and owning/harboring a dangerous dog.
