Overwhelmed owner surrenders 18 dogs to Idaho Humane Society

Idaho Humane Society officers responded to a call from an overwhelmed pet owner struggling to care for 18 dogs, including 16 puppies.

Thanks to donor support, the Humane Society was able to assist the owner and bring all the dogs into their care.

The shelter provided essential medical care, including spay and neuter surgeries, and prepared the dogs for adoption. Fourteen of the dogs are now available for adoption on a first-come, first-served basis at the shelter located at 1300 S Bird St, Boise, Idaho 83709.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Your support makes it possible for us to assist large numbers of animals in need and make a lasting difference in their lives,” said a shelter representative. “Please donate today to help us continue our lifesaving work.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
