OP Police searching for ‘large brown dog’ involved in biting incident

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – The Overland Park Police Department is searching for a dog involved in a biting incident Friday morning.

It happened in the area of W. 120th Street and Lowell Ave near Lexington Park. The victim told OPPD they suffered a minor bite injury to the leg after walking his bike past the dog on a trail.

The bite incident happened around 6:45 a.m. Friday, police said.

OPPD said the dog involved was described as a large brown dog weighing approximately 100 pounds. The owner was described as a white male between 40 and 50 years old.
