BATAVIA, Ohio (WXIX) – The oldest dog at a Tri-State animal shelter is still searching for a home.
Gaston is seven and a half years old, the League for Animal Welfare says.
He arrived at the shelter on Feb. 21 after he was brought to Cincinnati CARE as a stray three weeks earlier, the nonprofit animal shelter explained.
The League for Animal Welfare posted his photo on Facebook on June 13, with the hopes someone would give the senior dog a home.
Gaston’s post has been shared more than 230 times since. Sadly, the League for Animal Welfare said Tuesday that he has not been adopted.
“This perfect boy is happy to live with dogs, cats, kids – whoever can give him the most love, that’s who he wants to spend the rest of his days with,” League for Animal Welfare said of Gaston.
The League for Animal Welfare on Taylor Road in Batavia is open every day of the week but Thursday.
If you would like to adopt Gaston, stop by the shelter or call them at 513-735-2299.
