FIRE CREWS RUSHING TO PUT OUT FLAMES AT A METRO APARTMENT COMPLEX AROUND 1:00 THIS MORNING. CREWS SAY THEY COULD SEE EIGHT UNITS BURNING, TWO OF THEM FULLY ENGULFED. CREWS SAY AFTER DOING A SEARCH THROUGH THE BUILDING, THANKFULLY, NO ONE WAS INSIDE ANY OF THE UNITS THAT WERE ON FIRE. BUT THEY DO SAY THEY ARE INVESTIGATING WHETHER THIS FIRE WAS INTENTIONALLY SET. AT THIS TIME, WE’RE LOOKING AT THIS BEING A SUSPICIOUS FIRE. I’VE GOT 400 SERIES ARSON INVESTIGATORS IN ROUTE RIGHT NOW. CREWS SAY THAT NO ONE WAS INJURED IN THIS, BUT MAKE SURE YOU’RE STICKING WITH KOCO FOR ALL OF THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS TO THIS STORY. IN OKLAHOMA CITY, AUDREY GIBSON, KOCO FIVE NEWS AUDREY, THANK YOU. AND NEW AT NINE OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ARRESTING TWO PEOPLE IN CONNECTION WITH THE DEATH FROM OVER THE WEEKEND. THIS HAPPENED EARLY SATURDAY MORNING NEAR SOUTHWEST 20TH AND PORTLAND. POLICE SAY SOMEONE WAS BEATEN OUTSIDE OF A CONCERT AND LATER DIED. THEY SAY TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR SECOND DEGREE MURDER. WE ARE NOT NAMING THEM AT THIS TIME AS FORMAL CHARGES HAVE NOT BEEN FILED. DEVELOPING NOW A SEMI TRUCK CARRYING SEVERAL CARS CATCHING FIRE OVERNIGHT ON THE TURNER TURNPIKE. THIS HAPPENED BETWEEN LUTHER AND WELLSTON AROUND 130 IN THE EASTBOUND LANE. FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO GET THAT UNDER CONTROL AROUND 3:00 AND SAY THE SEMI DRIVER WAS NOT HURT AND WAS ABLE TO DISCONNECT THE TRAILER FROM THE PART THAT WAS BURNING. IT’S NOT CLEAR, THOUGH, WHAT SPARKED THE FIRE, AND AT LEAST ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER A CRASH INVOLVING TWO CARS. THIS HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AROUND 1145 NEAR WEST RENO AND SOUTH ROCKWELL. WE’RE STILL WAITING FOR UPDATES FROM POLICE ON THIS CRASH.
