Officials said it’s a rewarding way to get out and active, as well as getting dogs available for adoption noticed and “much-needed human interaction.”

The event is from 9:30 a.m. through noon on Wednesday, beginning at the shelter’s front lawn, 2811 Southeast 29th Street.
