No. 4 Columbus North won a battle of top-10 boys tennis teams Thursday, edging No. 9 Floyd Central 3-2.
Hank Lin beat Riley Doddridge 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Parth Shah topped Preston Bickel 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Bull Dogs (14-1). Sashu Sabapathy and Michael Crossman defeated Connor Himmel and Evan Zoftus 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
North’s Teddy Littrell fell to Joseph Howell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Yoki Murabayashi and Vince Sasse lost to Alex Eichenberger and Michael Fogle 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
