New Orleans firefighters rescue two dogs from St. Roch house fire

New Orleans firefighters rescued two dogs from a one-alarm blaze at a house in the St. Roch neighborhood Wednesday night.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:13 p.m. to the 2400 block of Music Street, where they found smoke and flames billowing from the left side of a single-story, wood-framed double. No residents were injured, but firefighters were notified that two dogs were trapped by the flames, according to the New Orleans Fire Department.

After forcing entry into the home, firefighters pulled a pit bull and Yorkshire terrier out of the burning building.

Seven NOFD units and 21 firefighters had the fire under control by 9:33 p.m., according to NOFD. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
