A New Jersey man performed sex acts with multiple dogs and filmed the abuse, leading to his arrest on multiple charges, authorities said Monday.
Hunter Roy, 26, was also accused of sharing more than 9,000 files of child pornography, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s office said in a press release. He was detained on May 8 and held in Burlington County jail.
Additionally, Roy communicated “in a sexual manner” with an underage boy and sent him child porn, according to investigators. He was charged with third-degree debauching of a child for the messages.
Other charges against Roy include possession and distribution of child sex abuse material, fourth-degree animal cruelty and third-degree narcotics possession, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Cops began investigating Roy after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children about his online activity, authorities said. Investigators then discovered his alleged history of distributing child porn.
As officers continued looking into Roy’s activities, they learned he filmed videos of himself “engaging in sexual acts” with a Rottweiler and another small dog, according to the prosecutor’s office. He then shared these videos with other people who sexually abuse dogs, police said.
Multiple electronic devices were seized during a search of Roy’s Maple Grove home, about 8 miles east of Philadelphia, officials said. The devices will be analyzed by police.
