(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A new pool made specifically for your four-legged best friend is now open in Colorado Springs, and the community is invited to bring their dogs for a day of wet and wild celebration on Saturday, June 22.
The new full-length dock diving pool opened on Monday, June 17 at Under the Sun Dog Training and Daycare, and the daycare facility is planning a grand opening “Poochella” party on June 22. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs and check out the new diving pool, which is made specifically for dogs. No two-leggeds allowed in the pool!
The free event will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will feature live music and delicious bites from local food trucks for purchase. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the live performance by MIMIC, and enjoy something tasty from Ciao Down, Panini Island, and the Springs Cupcake Truck.

Under the Sun Dog Training and Daycare was established by Colton and Heather Johnson in 2011, and they opened the new Training and Daycare Facility in 2021. You can find Under the Sun Dog Training and Daycare at 6540 Vincent Drive, just south of Woodmen Road near I-25.
