Highlands County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services in Sebring is taking part in the national “Clear the Shelters” campaign, which runs from Aug. 10 to Sept. 10. The annual pet adoption drive comes just as Animal Services is gearing up for some new digs.
Animal Services, located at 7300 Haywood Taylor Blvd. in Sebring, will soon undergo a major construction project to better serve pets and their humans, but first, they need to reduce their current population. The staff is down to the last few weeks before the groundbreaking on the new facility and would love to see the dogs and cats be adopted beforehand.
